- apples, peeled, cored and diced
- parsnips, peel and diced
- cream
- salt and pepper
- Combine parsnips and apples in sauce pan
- Cover with cream and cook gently until tender
- Mash with a potato masher
- Season with salt and pepper
- Cover and keep warm.
