F2T Box Quiche by Matt Joyce of PRIME at the Plaza

Quiche is great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is great with or without a crust. It can be enjoyed hot, warm or cold. It’s versatile.

Quiche Batter

·       2 Cups Ronnybrook Farms Milk

·       1 cup Heavy Cream

·       6 Herondale Farms Eggs

·       1⁄2 TBSP salt

·       2 tsp pepper

·       Optional piecrust

·       Optional vegetables, cheese and meat*

1.     Place first 5 ingredients in a bowl and whisk with a wire whip until frothy.

2.     Pour batter into optional pie crust or bake without a crust in a parchment paper and pan spray lined baking dish.

3.     Add optional vegetables, cheese and meat

4.     Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until top is browned.

5.     Check to make sure batter is set. Ovens vary, the quiche batter should be firm to the touch.

6.     Let quiche cool before cutting.

*Small diced Cooked Wheatley Farm sausage, Bulich Mushroom Farm button mushrooms, Chaseholm Farm cheese, a few spoonfuls of Migliorelli tomato sauce or Screaming Onion sauce.
